In my own opinion I think airdrops are mostly a waste of time because I have several Airdrops that are wasting about because the cryptocurrencies couldn't come up or most of them turned scams over time so I have made up my mind never to go for any Airdrops
again.
 
This thread was create about 6 months ago, has anyone actually benefited form this Airdrop? I am asking this because a lot of airdrop project collapse even during the infancy.

You should try to understand that there are some airdrop that are not real, most of them are fake and it is also an opportunity for them to hack your account if they have the chance to do it.
