What do you guys do with your old lithium batteries that are no longer being used or needed. I know the best thing to do is send them to a recycle center. But is there any way to recycle them yourselves? Or should you let the pros recycle them?

I have a few old phone batteries and some other lithium batteries just collecting dust. I am paranoid they will one day burst, so I've been wanting to get rid of them fast. Any suggestions?

Whenever I have any lithium batteries I always try and recycle them at places where they take them to be recycled. I also notice that a lot of shops tend to do a battery drop off now in which you can take all your used batteries in and they collect them and get them to where they can be recycled.

In my country, send them to a professional recycling center. These batteries can be hazardous if mishandled, and recycling centers have the expertise to handle them safely. If you're concerned about storing old batteries, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you can't find a safe recycling option, reach out to local recycling centers or waste management facilities.

I used to toss old lithium batteries in the trash, but I've been trying to be better about it lately. The safest thing to do with old phone batteries and other lithium ones is to take them to a recycling centre. Recycling them alone isn't a good idea because it can be dangerous.

Recently, I switched to using rechargeable batteries to reduce waste. To learn more about different kinds of batteries, like the various D batteries, I checked out https://batteriesglobe.com/d-vs-d2-vs-d4-vs-d8-vs-d12-batteries/. It helped me understand which batteries are best for what I need and how to use rechargeable ones. Paying attention to the types of batteries I use and how to get rid of them correctly has helped me handle my electronic waste better.

I sell electronic devices and old batteries to a recycling company. It is good to make some cash out of electronic waste instead of dumping in the garbage can.
