Lets say you purchase a property with a house that's in really good shape. Lets say it's ready to live in, but does need some work. Would you rather remodel the place and get the best price you can out of it? Or would you rather fix up needed repairs and sell after? I think it's always best to remodel and fix any issues before selling, but you are free to sell whenever you want. I know people who have purchased houses, never did any work on them, and years later sold it for more.
