Rooms are the new apartments. You can get one from what an apartment used to cost. Anyway, though, the con of it is lack of privacy. However, though, I think that attribute is exaggerated. Anyway, there is also the thing where you get bad roommates and/or house owners, but it's probably not the case usually.
