I think one day cryptocurrency is going to lose even more popularity. I really don't see the US government accepting it in any way, and if anything, they'd probably start their own, further hurting crypto as we know it.

So, will crypto one day lose popularity? If so, what will happen to it? Will it lose its worth fast?

Well, in what way does the United States not accept them? Do you mean as a general payment method in the territory? Or as a well regulated form of investment? I think these are feelings that we can have in the bear markets, as happened in the other bear markets, as it is already the end for them or that everything is ending or close to it, in any case it is too soon to say if they could lose more popularity or not, in my case I think that in the future we will see new developments within the industry and little by little more adoption and regulation, but you have to be patient.

If cryptocurrency was going to lose its popularity, it would have done so by now. Cryptocurrency have faced a lot of backlash from government and it never went awol. China banned cryptocurrency in the country only to develop/launch their own because they see the benefits it presents.

I don't think they will lose popularity in the coming years and this is because the number of people who are trading it have an investment in the cryptocurrency market is ever increasing. The fear should be on the idea that the market might crash anytime.

I do not think crypto will lose popularity, in fact, crypto will be more popular and many countries will start legalizing cryptos. I also see more regulations coming, thus being able to control fraudulent activities like rug pull in the crypto market.

I would be very shocked to see crypto lose its popularity, especially with how far it has come now since around 10 years ago or so.

I remember when I first heard about crypto and the one that was most popular then was Bitcoin, never thought in 10 years or so I would still see it being used or even one of the secure ones but here we are and that is the case.

I don't think all cryptocurrency with be popular but definitely ones like Bitcoin and Litecoin I feel are here to stay and will continue to be popular.

I do not see cryptocurrency loose it's popularity anytime soon. Rather I see it gaining more ground as more government and organizations begin to accept them as a medium of payment and exchange...

I agree with you on the need to have more regulations. If you look at what England are doing with the regulations, then you will see that a lot of countries will want to follow suit. This is what I believe will make crypto coins to be more popular too.

Despite being decentralized assets, crypto also need regulations. The regulations should be there not to control crypto market but to control companies involved in crypto investment and trading. When there is regulation, there will be less scamming.

Cryptocurrency have been through a lot of since the past few years. What's happened with cryptocurrency is enough to cripple it but that never happened. Now, we have seen cryptocurrency being embraced by more international institutional companies. This is a big step in cryptocurrency popularity.
