This sense of financial independent from government's control is what will continue to make so many people adopt cryptocurrencies.

I don't think it is the alternative currency that fans of crypto coin want. They are engaged in crypto because of the trading and the potential profit. Many fans are blinded that they think crypto coin is a currency. It is only a commodity.
