Which one has the bigger risk, futures or spot?

Futures and Spot trading have been dominating the cryptocurrency space since inception. We have experts in these fields where there are those that would like to do Spot trading while others will prefer to go with Futures trading. Which one do you think has the bigger risk considering their features?
 
I am 100 percent sure that futures have much more risks, especially if it is used by a newbie. Very often beginners like to use very large trading leverage and this is the main reason for losing their funds. On the spot, such a situation will not take away his entire deposit
 
Definitely, futures, at least with spot you know you have the asset in your portfolio and it can go up or down, but with futures it's just a bet, it's nothing more than that.
 
You trade future for speculative price. There is no way one can predict the market correctly, therefore futures are more riskier.
