What's the difference between BTC and BCH?

Can someone explain the difference between BTC and BCH? I've heard both mentioned but not sure of the distinction. Is it that BCH is a sub coin of the BTC? How are they related? Why does BCH take the name Bitcoin?
 
Simply BCH was a fork of Bitcoin that was carried out in 2017 for issues of block size and to give speed of transaction to the network, which led to the birth of Bitcoin Cash which is as I said only a fork of Bitcoin.
 
BCH is known as Bitcoin Cash and it was the fork of main Bitcoin currency, which was created in the year 2008. Bitcoin itself was the first ever cryptocurrency which was created.
 
BCH was created by a team of developers to speed up the transaction size per block and speed up the transaction speed on the original Bitcoin Codes

Thanks for the information but do you know that the owners of these two cryptocurrencies are different?
