I came to know about NFTs months ago when there was news on social networking websites that some of the Indian celebs including Bollywood actors have started to use or trade using NFT but from that time I am unable to understand what is NFT and how can we make money through it.

NFT is a digital media in blockchain. Let's say, you have a photograph in jpg format. You can mint this photograph on blockchain (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, etc.). Your photo in jpg will now be an NFT, with your digital signature.

That's interesting, How will I earn from it? I think celebs can because people do like to pay for their pics but how can we earn from it

You can sell your NFTs through the platforms like opensea, solsea, and even Binance NFT.

Thanks but I would like to know if its possible to sell as I don't see others interested in buying our pics in the form of NFT

I haven't been able to sell mine either. However, I have seen common people selling their NFTs and making money. So, I believe it is absolutely possible.

NFT stands for non-fungible token, a unique digital asset that represents ownership of a specific item such as art, music, videos, etc. using blockchain technology.

Yes, it is possible to sell NFTs as a non-celebrity. You can showcase your artwork and offer it for sale on popular NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, Rarible, or SuperRare. Additionally, consider building a personal brand and promoting your work through social media and online communities to increase visibility and attract potential buyers.

Thanks for your help, I will try to figure out in my free time about it and will see if I can convert pics to NFT and if they are sellable or not

On opensea, you do not have to do anything to mint your photo into an NFT if you use a polygon blockchain (just a few clicks). If you choose Ethereum blockchain you need to poay fees.

It's still a very new thing for me and I always try to first learn and then invest so most of the times I postpone my investment decisions but I will certainly learn more about it.

Opensea is a marketplace for non figurable tokens means when you are searching for specific NFT then you will find it, it is like coinmarketcap concept for cryptocurrencies.

Will it be a good idea to buy a popular NFT and sell it when its price is higher? Do they work like cryptos?

NFTs or non fungible tokens are photographs or images that are based on blockchain, some people say that we can save a photo or image from Google and this means that we own it but this is completely wrong because you can have only a copy of it but it's original on blockchain is only related to it's owner.

You can mint or buy a NFT on different marketplaces such as opensea and rarible.
