Bitcoin Gold is a fork of the BTC (Bitcoin Core) protocol. It was created with the aim of decentralizing Bitcoin again and not being under the control of any company. It also uses a protocol called Equihash, which allows any computer to mine BTG without major problems. , making it one of the best POW cryptocurrencies to mine currently.
