I know blockchain tech is what runs and operates crypto but I never fully understood it.

Does anyone else know more about this tech and what it can be useful for outside of crypto? I am trying to better understand it.

Blockchain was originally created as a secure gateway where Crypto currency transactions like trading, buying or selling and in recent times mining of crypto currency can be carried out. I don't think it has any function outside crypto currency.

Cryptocurency is mainly one of the ways to use in carrying out online and e-transaction with ease,and again the government of various countries have extended it to use in storage of financal data's and health record data's and also population records.
