We were busy talking about the Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador, of course, it is the first country on the globe that accepted bitcoin as legal tender . Guatemala is also a country that uses bitcoin greatly and all its citizens uses bitcoin because they know its values.

Following El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender, the central banks of Honduras and Guatemala were considering using digital currencies, potentially including Bitcoin. It is important to note that Bitcoin has made rapid progress in Guatemala.

These countries are helping in pushing tye course for cryptocurrency adoption world over. Guatemala, I hear that Bitcoin is generally accepted by the populace for common transactions like barbing of hair. When once any tier one country recognizes cryptocurrencies, it is just the end of the story.

It is very nice to see that the adoption of cryptocurrency is increasing by the day. We are hopeful that cryptocurrency would be the future of business and finances. El Salvador and Guatamala have given us what to leverage on.

The reason I believe why many people are talking about el Salvador over Guatemala is because in el Salvador there was a total acceptance of Bitcoin as a legal tender and not partial.

One of the benefit of belonging to a forum is that you'll be learning new things everyday. I don't know before Guatemala is the first country to accept bitcoin as a legal tender. We are waiting other countries to start accept bitcoin as legal tender.

I have heard of Guatemala. However, these days media houses and also people do not talk about how these countries that adopted bitcoin as a legal tender are coping with the substantial loss in the value of bitcoin

I have heard about Guatemala and it's a country that uses bitcoin greatly . This country know the value of bitcoin and that is why bitcoin is very popular and used by almost all the people.

This is something that I am intrigue to learn about the outcome, due to the fact that it can set either a negative or positive precedence for the case on the adoption of cryptocurrency as a legal tender in other countries.

Apparently, we are overwhelmed by the adoption of Bitcoin by El Salvador but we forgot that Guatemala is a small country that also use and cherish Bitcoin do much.

I can't simply wait for when the government of the United States of America and other World Power would come to terms in accepting cryptocurrency. If they stop fighting the Blockchain technology, it's going to do much good.

We cannot say that all the citizens of Guatemala use Bitcoin because it is surely not true, surely a part of the population does, as also happens in Argentina, also if we study the adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador well, we will realize that it has not been for nothing overwhelming, said by foreign Bitcoiners who have moved to the country, the public still hardly uses it, despite the efforts of the government.

It's basically the same thing in my country. We still find a way to make use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency even though our government isn't out to support cryptocurrency. Banks don't support it too and any transaction liked to cryptocurrency is frozen by our banks. It's why cryptocurrency details are excluded when using banks to make payment here.

In my country it is getting very difficult too, the other day I withdrew $350 from my Kraken account to my Spanish bank account, Kraken charged me a commission of $2.5 for said withdrawal, that is something acceptable, when the $347.5 came into my bank, they took almost $150 from me supposedly in commissions, I called the bank pissed off and they didn't give me many explanations, saying that they were for taxes and other deductions, anyway they took it from me for no reason, probably because it was money from crypto, simply a shame.

It should be noted that much of this money comes from my online activities, and that they take that amount from me is simply shameful, I am seriously thinking of changing to another bank.

Before getting to the end part of your post, I was already going to suggest changing bank but you've already thought of it. So, make sure that you go ahead with it. I had the same experience with one bank here I was using called Zenith Bank. They took 50% of the money sent to me from Netherlands as a charge, I went to the bank the next day to know why. After hearing their silly excuses, I closed the account immediately.
