The digital euro could arrive in 2027.

The digital euro, according to many banks and savings banks could arrive more or less in 2027, the European central bank gives an approximate date of 4 years, so it could arrive at the end of 2027 or 2028, for me that is the time I have to prepare more for when it arrives, I am not at all in favor of the digital Euro or CBDCs.
 
Is this CBDC or a digital version of Fiat currency. According to my understanding, CBDC and digital currency, especially the one associated with fiat currency are two different things. Correct me I I am wrong.
 
Privacy Concerns: A major worry is the potential for increased surveillance. With digital transactions recorded on a central ledger, governments or other entities could potentially track spending habits and personal financial data much more easily than with cash.

Centralization: Some fear that CBDCs concentrate too much power in the hands of central banks. This could potentially lead to control over citizens' finances and the ability to restrict access to funds.

Displacement of Cash: There's concern that a digital euro could eventually lead to the phasing out of physical cash, which many people rely on for privacy, security, and financial inclusion. Those without bank accounts or digital access could be disadvantaged.
