My block chain account has been abandoned for over 3 years, how do I retrieve it without backup phrase? I forgot where I saved it. Any suggestions?

I don't think that is possible especially without the secret phrase. That is why you were admonished not to ever lose them. I would suggest you move on from that and get an account with another trusted and safe wallet.

The only way to restore your wallet is through your backup phrase. Make sure you write down your backup phrase which is the only way to restore access to your wallet in the event of a lost password. Change your password by clicking Change

Same as every other wallets you really need your phases or just make a new one. As they warned once you lost your seeds and mnemonic phases you won't be able to retrieve it anymore.

he isn't talking about blockchain as in THE blockchain, he's talking about a cryptocurrency wallet literally called Blockchain wallet.

And yeah, you're gonna need your seed phrase or else just forget about it.

I sincerely sympathize with you most especially if you are still having some cryptocurrencies in it. To the best of my knowledge I dont think you can retrieve your account back with your backup phrase, that is why it is always advisable to write it down on a sheet of paper and store it in a secure location for future references such as this.

That is impossible, just forget about the account and open another, I forgot my trust wallet phrase word back in September and I had upto a dolar on it but I just have to forget about it and open another one and this one I actually saved it in every part of my phone and also wrote it in a diary.

I think it's almost impossible but it's still possible cus it's takes a series of steps that might get you fustrated so I'll advice you to open a new one and forget the old one cus I know some crypto currency will be in it but in the future make sure you always write your backup phrase inside a save jotter to avoid things like this.

Mostly once one lost recovery phrase it will be difficult to access it back again , however if you are still logged in the app or site , you can try using email recovery to get back the lost password.
But being idle for 3 years ,it might not be easy to access it again .

Try getting your login ID from any of their promotional messages they ever sent to your mail and use the login id with the registered email to reset your password without using the backup phrase.

You should have your 12 words pass phrase somewhere. If you have that written down somewhere, then you can definitely get back your account. I really do hope you didn't leave a substantial amount in their, it would be really sad if that was the case.

If you don't have the security password you used in opening the account I don't think there is any means for you to retrieve the account. If you know you don't have any funds in the account it will be better if you can just open another blockchain account for your trading.

I think that account might be gone forever except maybe you remember the recovery phrase and use it. I'm sorry, it's not possible. I am also a victim of forgotten Blockchain password. I tried to retrieve mine, but it's not possible without paraphrase. The paraphrase serves as a means of securing your password if you are getting new phone.

I guess the poster mean the blockchain wallet, I will advise you to register another account. These wallets are very strict when it comes to security. Although all these are for our sake. You should have kept the secret phrase somewhere safer.

To put it simple: you cant ever retrieve it again.Once you forget your password to a wallet and you don't have the 12 secret phrase for blockchain, then such account is lost forever.This is because they don't store your password hence there is no way they can assist with a direct reset link other than using your backup phrase .

Well I think you should check your gmail for that. The gmail you used in registering should still have your wallet address and every other details intact.
But for better knowledge I think you should contact someone with better knowledge of the stuffs
