Mining crypto while gaming, anything like it exist?

Is there any way to earn cryptocurrency from gaming? Maybe while you game you can earn actual crypto at a slow rate. Maybe it mines while you game, utilizing some of your resources to mine. And maybe the game will also issue free tokens or something. Do you think there are any games like this that exist already? Could it be possible to run a game and also mine crypto on the back end?

I do not have any experience but I hear that mining is possible in a gaming computer (with high specs). When you game, you will be using a lot of computational power and I am not sure if mining will also operate on the same computer when you are gaming. Maybe it would operate but the reward will be slow.
