Is mining crypto the best way of making it rich in the field?

Mining crypto is something I have not done yet. I purchased some crypto on PayPal and that was it. I already sold it off because I made next to nothing, and I didn't want to hold onto it forever. Maybe I should've, because maybe I would have made a little extra. Anyway, that's not the point of this topic. Do you think mining crypto is the best way of making it rich in the field of Crypto?
 
Nowadays I don't think so, profit margins are not as high as they were in the past decade, I think right now, you can make some money from mining, but get rich from it, I see it difficult unless you can have a big cryptocurrency mining farm.
 
Mining reward is decreasing, prices of energy is increasing, therefore, mining is no longer profitable, at least for small investors. A better approach is investing in crypto assets.
 
I don't really hear much about mining anymore. For now I believe the best way to earn crypto is to look for survey sites like Idle-Empire and do tasks to earn credits to get crypto, if you don't want to purchase crypto with your money.
 
These days mining is mostly reserved for businesses or rich individuals., it is not something that everyone can do it as it is very expensive to run a mining operation. You can profit only when you operate in a large scale
