Is it true that the senders or the receivers of cryptocurrency cannot be tracked at all? Cryptocurrencies are a kind of decentralized digital network and no single organization can control it. It is transferred digitally and no one can reveal the identity of the sender or the receiver. So is it not possible to track down the sender or receiver of cryptocurrency transactions?

I think some crypto currency are still trackable except from monero coin and dash coin which are more hard to track ,and most people actually have a lot of device they make use of in actually tracking crypto currency i think, so that's the mode and how it actually looks like i thinj

They say that cryptocurrencies are 100 percent untraceable or untraceable to some extent. I would like to what are the chances of successfully tracing the sender or receiver of cryptocurrencies? Thanks.
Its not based on what they say actually buy it Happens most times if the wallet address is incorrect and its not only that, if a particular amount of bitcoin is in a wallet and the digital used to acquire the the coin is lost that cin to is lost forever.

Digital cannot be seen. So there is tendency not to trace cryptocurrencies especially if sent to a wrong adress. That is the reason why traders must be careful when doing cryptocurrencies.

Okay, so how is it possible for someone to trace cryptocurrency? It should be noted that I am talking about tracing the sender or receiver (person) of the cryptocurrencies. Do you think it is possible to trace down the sender and the receiver of the cryptocurrency?

I think that it may be possible in my opinion if you consider the fact that you are accepting your crypto wallet from and IP address, so I think that if someone had to rather trace that IP address then they would be able to trace the wallet and in turn the seller or the receiver of the crypto.

I know that it might be possible to trace the crypto wallet user through his or her IP Address. However, what if someone uses Virtual Provate Network (VPN) before using the cryptocurrency wallet? Will someone still treace the person?

Well, i think you cannot trace any cryptocurrency id by its transaction id and details. It is completely secret but still the app is not safe as if someone has the private key by hacking or something then he can definitely open the account.

It might not be possible or at least difficult to trace cryptocurrency sender or reciever through transaction ID alone. However, it might be possible to trace the sender or reciver through IP address or by tracing internet network. I am not sure if it would be possible to trace a sender or receiver if someone uses VPN.

In my opinion, almost 100% of cryptocurrency cannot be traced who is the sender and recipient of crypto, but if you open the blockchain there will be crypto transactions and you can then browse where (crypto wallet or exchange), currently cyber security has collaborated with wallets and exchanges, so it's easy. identified who has with KYC. You can also disguise Bitcoin receipts with a wallet mixer, making them harder to track.

yes i agree with its not traceable if we sent the fund to the wrong wallet address because it cant be undone while in bank transaction we can undo in case fund sent wrong account. while all crypto addresses can be find on blockchain address and can see how many transaction with KYC. wallet

Absolutely we cannot trace the details of the owner of that account. That is why all the transactions are end to end encrypted with showing of the address and transaction date and time with it.

Well, if you are referring to funds being sent to one address or the other, the address is always obvious but unfortunately you are unable to attach any individual's details to such addresses.

I think some crypto is really trackable because there are no new technologies that could be used for crypto tracking and others ,so its really possible to track crypto currency based on my research about crypto currency , but i noticed that monero coin is harder to track i think , compared to other coin

Since I have been hearing about crypto, I have never seen someone trace a transaction, if you send a crypto to another address let's say ethereum to bitcoin, once this is done, you can not get your funds back and the only reason why somebody will want to traces transaction is mainly because he or she made a mistake and sent it to another person's address which is untraceable I think.

If you had to use a VPN then I think the traceability of that person will be significantly lower, and I doubt they would be able to pinpoint an exact location for that person. It is quite hard to say, but many use VPNs as a way to hide their identity and location online, so I think that it is safe to say that using a VPN will keep your IP address anonymous as well.

Many VPN companies collect logs and so such companies do know who is using their VPN service. Many people have claimed that using a VPN does not make you 100 percent anonymous and you ares till traceable. This means even if you send or receive transactions using a VPN, you might still be traceable. However, some VPN companies provide audit of their logs and they claim that they do not collect their customer's data.

You have a point. Someone who plans on doing something illegal through crypto currency can always use VPN to hide his transactions. This will make it very difficult if not almost impossible to trace this transaction. Generally I think it is really untraceable

Not all crypto currency are untraceable, some are traceable , i heatd you can use vpn to hide your location thereby making the crypto untraceable during and after the transaction, you can get the address of the sender but you cant get the detailed informations.
