Many people usually inherit many different kinds of things. This also includes inheriting properties and business. However, since cryptocurrencies are also a kind of asset, do you think that they could be inherited as well? Have you ever heard about someone inheriting cryptocurrencies?

It is absolutely possible to inherit crypto. In fact, I plan to build some crypto funds and give away access to the crypto wallet to my kids some day. Crypto is also real-world asset and if someone is willing to give crypto as assets, they can do so. However, crypto should be legal in the area where you live.

I think I read that some companies already make digital wills, to give your family members your digital belongings on the day you die, my older brother also told me this, I think it is something very possible and that you can already do it.

It's just like inheriting any type of property right, as long as the one inheriting it has been given access to it.

Most people are very skeptical about exposing their cryptocurrency holdings though, even to close family and friends.

I'm sure it is possible to inherit cryptocurrency from someone, but they would have to make sure it is in their will before their death. I'm sure wherever it's held could be transferred to the person who inherited your crypto.
