Is investing in metaverse profitable?

Metaverse is one of the exponentially growing industries that can have a very high market cap in up coming years, I personally think investing in it will be very profitable, if you don't want to directly invest in metaverse then you can invest in it's crypto currencies like: Mana, Sand, Enjin, Axie Infinity and more.

It may be that in the not too distant future it will really bear fruit, although I have heard little news lately about Sandbox or Decentraland and its Mana token, I was an investor in Mana a long time ago, I took profits from it and abandoned it, Mark Zuckerberg also seems to have recently he gave up on his failed Meta project and his Facebook metaverse.
