Can anyone tell me what are benefits of hardware crypto wallets? And why people use these wallets if there are best online cryptocurrencies wallets available?

I do not see the need for all this different types of wallet but hard wallets are just wallets that you have to pay for using them and their services. To be honest I would not advice you to use one as there are so many more alternatives.

As for me I don't like hardware wallet. I saw in a post that ledger wallet was hacked and ledger wallet is hardware wallet. So I wondered how that happens since it is hardware wallet. So I will advise you not to try it because your hardware might get damaged or stolen
