A federal judge has sentenced former FTX Digital Markets co-CEO Ryan Salame to 7.5 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to two felony charges.

In a May 28 hearing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Lewis Kaplan ordered Salame to serve 7.5 years in prison for conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business and engaging in campaign finance fraud

It is good that the people who were guilty are being punished. I also hear that FTX is trying to pay back investors' funds.
