You can't trust Nigeria when it comes to issues like this. Any project that the politicians would not create an avenue for the politicians to make money, it will never be successful.
At the end of the day they are always looking to line their pockets based on what they are implementing in the country and therefore i think that this is a major concern because people may lose trust in them as well.

If the project would favour them, count it as a successful one already. But if otherwise, it will never be successful. So far , I have not seen the impact of the CBDC projects on the economy.

I think that in china it has not worked out very well becausee it seems that there is a lot of people that are moving away from these coins in the country and that it seems to be backfiring.

I heard that they integrated a Smart contract on the CBDC network and that alone should make it a successful project. I so much have fate on China CBDC projects.

That is very interesting and i think that it will make a major difference in how people are viewing the coin as well because i think that they will be able gain the trust of people using this.

Ever since this was created I have never seen what it has to offer and people are not even talking about it anymore.. instead of the Nigerian government to go ahead and fight the corruption that is happening around they are just busy trying to invent what will never be profitable to the country nor the citizen

The Nigerian government has got the ability to regulate the trading activities of crypto currencies traders. But should I say due to lack of technical know how on the part of the government they have decided to handle things with kids glove and allow things to remain banned. But i know very soon we will have leaders with the right attitude.

The ban of cryptocurrency by the Nigerian government is a thing that raises concerns, the adoption of the CBFC project may not successful because the project use the blockchain technology.

I do not think the citizens are even going to accept it in the first place. The true reason for creation of cryptocurrencies is because they are supposed to be anonymous and private and this is not what the Central Bank is trying to achieve.

It's quite hilarious a country that can't even afford to improve it's educational system want to adopt Digital currency. When their fiat currency is so weak and it constantly falling against dollar.
