It's always advisable for anyone who's interested in getting into cryptocurrency trading or Forex trading to start out learning and practicing with a demo account. Although, the stubborn one's don't always have ears because they want the profit they make in demo account to be in their live account.

I started learning my own forex trading with a $30,000 demo account. I didn't blow the account until I was finished with my training which was 6 months.

Here we should first specify what type of trading you want to get involved in, do you want to do stock trading, cryptocurrency trading, forex trading? since there are many demo accounts in the market but the best ones are usually specialized in a single market, but If you want a good general account where you can learn a little about everything, I recommend the Etoro demo account, there you can learn to trade with CFDS, ETFS, cryptos, raw materials and stocks, another very good one is the XTB demo account, these brokers are mostly for European citizens.

Thanks for those recommendations, I guess crypto is the big one which is something I really want to learn and start training in. I might try eToro if I can get a little taste of everything and see what I prefer really.

I believe that the demo account was created to help newbies that are into Forex to trade and learn. You will learn the art of discipline and how you can manage the funds for a longer period of time. Once you are good at trading with the demo account, you have higher chances of succeeding as a Forex trader.

Learning is constant in forex or cryptocurrency trading. There will be new trading strategies to check out and you're not supposed to be using your live account to do anything like that.

Trading expert will advice you to never learn and study forex or cryptocurrency trading with a live account. The learning process is full of mistakes you can't afford to make with your real money. It's why demo account is very important for learning.

Thank you so much for this information. Having not known this, I could have made a mistake by going in with a live account and that would have been one of the worst things.

Goes to show that by waiting and researching and learning you find out new things to help you do things more safely to save you losing money.

I know that you're using Binance, if you don't know it yet, they offer a demo account too. You can apply for their demo account and they will approve it for you. I had it when I began my cryptocurrency trading lessons.
