So much renewable energy could be utilized to power the mining rig, and flaring, which could have been a wasteful practice, could also be used to power the mining rig, as was reported in the news yesterday. ConocoPhillips, a major oil and gas company based in Bakken, North Dakota, has decided to power a bitcoin mining machine with extra gas produced as a by-product of oil drilling.
 
The usage of natural resources could be a very profitable idea like the case you are describing in your thread.
 
This is a way of recycling the wates energy to make it very useful for the mining process. The gas flaring is regarded as waste before now.

That's the right word to use. Using the renewable energy is more of recycling of waste. Adopting this method in cryptocurrency is a laudable gesture.
 
I think all mining activities should be powered only by renewable energy. This is good for the environment as well as economy
