Can you advertise through NFTs or with them?

NFTs are still confusing to me. They are like digital items you can buy and sell, and work in the blockchain sector, or something idk. It's all too confusing to me. But, if NFTs really become big, could we technically advertise through them? Because NFTs are pieces of art in their own right, we could probably use them as a way to advertise something. Right?

I do not think that advertise a blog in an NFT image is something permitted on NFT world otherwise people will cherish from service for the free advertising of NFT or something similar to this.

We can do the both of them as long as we are passing an information to people in one way or the other. As long as they are able to understand the fact that we are advertising.

The problem here would be the effectiveness of the advertisement, would it reach the purpose of why it was set up in the first place?, How would people react to the advertisement.

I think you have valid questions and that is why it is important to be able to address this question even before going for the particular type of advertisements that you want to go for

If you are an established brand, sure. The NFT could function as an advertisement in and of itself. If you are not, then no. People are inclined to buy NFTs based on followings and popularity. If you don't have an online presence, you are very unlikely to sell an NFT. I made some a few years ago as a test project for work and managed to sell 2 of the 300 I made which surprised me.
