Can a new department related to cryptocurrency emerge in the state?

Cryptocurrency has now reached very high levels and many transactions, both legal and not, pass through cryptocurrency, and the state must control it so that dishonest payments do not occur. But in my opinion, a simple department related to funds cannot do this because it is a very technological work and for this you need specialists and preferably young people who understand young people and can predict what might be on the mind of a potential suspect and how to fight it. After all, cryptocurrency is very high technology

I don't think that will happen, however, I believe crypto will sooner ot later come under central bank and security exchange. My thoughts are based in the fact that crypto is money so central bank will look after it, likewise, crypto is also asset, therefore security exchange will look after crypto market. I this this will happen not only in the US but in most countries where crypto is legalised.
