Cyber hackers posing as MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor stole $1.14 million from a bitcoin user on Saturday. The customer sent 26.4 bitcoins (BTC) to an address that cryptocurrency tracking firm Whale Alert flagged as a bitcoin scam.

A bitcoin user was robbed of over 26 bitcoins worth $1.14 million by online fraudsters posing as MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor.

They may grab addresses from airdrops because most of the airdrops require BTC address or ETH address to claim airdrop then airdrop is a scam and finally they hack people by this way I think.
 
The cybercriminals use is the information of famous cryptocurrency enthusiast to defraud the people and this is what we need to be sceptical about.
