This is a very important question, because it often happens that when you try to pay for a card on the Internet, especially on not very well-known sites, you become a victim, after which criminals can gain full access to your funds in your account. Therefore, what measures should be taken before the purchase to make sure that the transaction will be successful?

I make sure I am buying from reputable and legit places online. As in I make sure to navigate to the correct sites, like Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Ebay, etc. I never purchase something from sites I don't recognize, or sites that don't have enough history on them.

As well, don't store your card on any shopping site. You can also order as a guest on some of these shopping sites, so that's an option. Though I think creating an account is ideal so you can at least track your current and past orders.
