How much money did you invest in your first website or forum?

How much would you say you invested into your very first website? My first sites were from free services, but the first site I ever made and paid for, was probably pretty cheap. I think I got the domain for cheap, the host per month wasn't bad, give or take I probably spent over $500 in my first year, maybe more. I don't remember.

What about you though? What did you invest into your first site or forum?

I didn't pay much for my first paid account with this GoDaddy affiliate. However, it was a hassle cause I was inexperienced with credit cards so I ended up sending a western union to pay. Well, I was also in a foreign country (outside the US).

I invested around $11 to launch my first self hosted website. I spent 99 cents on a domain (it was xyz domain) and I bought shared hosting package for $9.88 (it was introductory price, renewal was higher). That was back in 2015
