It is very important to call those involved to bring about an amiable solution to whatever problems they might be having. Each party expresses himself and whoever seems to be in the wrong should apologize and that is all.

It is a tricky situation because you'll want to handle it in a diplomatic manner, what I did back then when I was a manager , I'll call both parties sit them down. Whoever is at fault gets a warning or a query depending on the severity of the conflict, and make them know conflicts are not accepted in the office.
 
A manager or business owner should have the ability to settle disputes in the working place in order to avoid unnecessary outcomes in the future. And a manager or business owner that is not patient may not be able to deal which this kind of cases.
 
I think there should be query given when staffs display such acts. There are rules and regulations in every organization that staffs needs to obey. Any form of conflict should be done away with. They can have the conflict after work.

Team management and team work is very essential for peaceful co existence among workers, there will definitely be moments where someone will say something or do something that may offends another and we must never forget the reason we came together even in the midst of disagreement.

Conflict management in an organization requires a lot of skills to handle it. Skills like leadership skills and human management skills. If I am the manager in question, i would have a conflict resolution team that will be working to investigate and settle dispute between co-workers or clients.
