Why does the body need sleep?

This is an hilarious question but really straight and blunt at the same time. I think we are pretty much like machines and other tools, we need to rest to recover lost energy to be at the our highest productive capacity.
 
You should know that health is wealth. It is only a healthy man that can create and make wealth and not a sick or dead man. So the body needs this rest by all means
 
Everyone's body really need sleep because sleep help us to recover lost energy, when you sleep your body systems recovered that which you have used
 
We need sleep because the body cannot be active run the clock. Even machines have down time how much more human. Slept also help us ease off stress
 
The body needs sleep so it can replenish all the energy expended while working. Someone who has insomnia is prone to many forms of sicknesses.
The body need sleep at least for 6hours per day to recuperate and settles so that it can be fresh and healthy to start another day, resting is important for the the body to settles down.

We're vulnerable when we're asleep, so whatever sleep does, it must be worth the risk of the brain taking itself mostly offline.
The importance of sleep cannot be overemphasied,The body was design to rest after a routine of activity and if it does'nt get that desired rest,the resultant effect will be felt by the individual,lack of cordination,memory loss and lsck of concentration.Refreshed system is what we get when our system reboot and start working again.
