I don't like being paid in gift cards, because it limits what you can do with that money. Say you get an Amazon gift card, which I'm sure are used often on those type of sites. But, that money can only be used on Amazon and can't be transferred off. So in a way, it limits what you can do with the money. Some of us have to pay bills, so an Amazon gift card doesn't necessarily help. It's nice to have just in case, but I'd rather be paid cash via PayPal or right to my bank account.
