When you lose a lot of money, how do you cope and get over it?

We all fail from time to time, it's nothing new really. I've failed quite a bit starting out, hell I still fail from time to time. And failing in your business ventures could cause you to lose a lot of money and profit. Has there ever been a time where you lose a lot and it brought you down big time? How did you cope with losing money and how did you end up getting over it?

For me, when I lost a decent amount of money from the work I do, I often do my best to get over it. I look at the mistakes I made, and try to learn from them, and make sure I don't repeat said mistakes again. I also slow down and reassess the situation and go from there. What do you do?

I have only ever made one mistake during my time investing in anything and it was when I was creating video game content and streaming as well.
