When should the staff give his employees bonuses?

Am employer should give bonuses to his employees when he knows that the company has gotten gains in the business, and the gains should be able to reach all the employees so that that the can stay in the company and put more effort.
 
Yeah, if I am increasing the salary of my workers I probably expect a better version of themselves and a better performance in the business environment.

It's very good to be hardworking as an employee because it helps to being unexpected profit. So I think employees get bonuses when they work extra or more than what they are expected of.
