It is quite evident that in developing countries today and other regions of the world it has become a serious matter for discussion whether it would be more sustainable for the government to provide more jobs or if individuals should grow above waiting for the government to create job and help themselves by acquiring a skill.

It would be a disaster to any nation or region of the world if the greater number of the populace suffer from lack of a stable source to generate income for themselves this would lead to the bankruptcy of their economy as people won't be able to get the money needed to live comfortably.

Would it be a sure way out of such disastrous occurrence if the populace would find solutions for themselves by learning or acquiring a skill instead of waiting for the so-called white collar jobs.

what are your opinions on this? drop your comments down below let's share ideas.

It's very glaring that skill development would be better because it will make you a better person. You will be self dependent and will work at your own pace. It will allow explore different ways to make money.

Bro, nothing beats developing a skill. I've realised that the world is advancing now and specialists are constantly on the need always.
You can start by having a job but ensure that you're developing your skills so you don't get left out at the end.

To me, I believe the surest way to financial independence is to undergo skills development because that will helped you even at the mist of a storm not necessarily been under someone.

I really think that even as student it will do a great good to acquire some skill, they can also combine their studies with skill acquisition, some private higher institution here has even added skill acquisition to their school curriculum.

It all depends on the type of employment. Some jobs guarantee your financial freedom while some skills would take you no where. It all depends on the type of job and the skill learnt.

I think the definition of financial freedom is a little bit murky, and I'm not sure it is a realistic goal for every single person. But answering the question, I believe being employed and developing skills are ideally not mutually exclusive. Many of us need employment in order to maintain a stable livelihood, but if next to that we can focus on developing marketable skills and figure out ways to start a business or get some passive income, that can be a really good first step.

Even now with the covid 19 and all the packages it brought along with it, the guarantee for job security is relatively low as many big companies and employers are reliving their staffs of their various jobs in the name of redundancy. Isn't this a Clarion call for even the employed to engage themselves in acquiring more skills?

I think developing a skills, is the only guarantee to financial independence depending on how valuable you take your skills very seriously and the application of the knowledge you have gained.

I think to the best way to financial freedom is to learn a very good skills and that is in necessity that a high demand u think it's better than employment doesn't pay anymore it's does before but it's doesn't anymore

Mostly, is better to have a skill which you can apply by doing your own job. I prefer developing skills than getting employed.

Both of them are really good depending on some circumstance you may needs some sort of employment to raise money to learn your preferred skills. Some people are not interested to learn a skill that is why it depends on interest.

They are both very important and securing a well-paying job is the best way forward because you would not be thinking about where to secure funds and go about a business.

I think both are surest way to financial freedom depending on how you takes them serious. But to some extent I think, acquisition of skills is the best because it will gave freedom from both control and and also financially.

Being skilled in something is an advantage, especially if you are the only one to offer that skill in your place. You may have a stable income for being an employee, but it can eat up all your time. You cannot consider that you are financially free if you don't own your time.

If you have a particular skill that a lot of people want then that is the most secure way of escaping poverty. The problem is that it is not as guaranteed as when you are having a job that is going to be paying you at the end of the week or month.

If you are very lucky to work in a big organisation that pays very well, you will attain financial freedom . On the other hand, some skills may not be able to give you meaningful money .

Skills are better than employment jobs. Skills can expand your professional competency and allow you to perform your job well. You can gain and improve skills with education and experience. The more advanced you are in performing certain skills, the more likely you are to get or progress in a job. This is a fact.

The best financial freedom is to learn a good skills that can you a good money, because skills are very important in life in anything you want to do requires skills for one to make it in life.

Learning skills needs a lot of money and investment and also trials in real-life means you have to do many efforts to reach the intermediate level to earn from your skills and competence.
