Crimes are prevalent in almost all the countries. I think that unemployment has a really deep relationship with crimes. When the unemployment increases, the crime rate also increases because people cannot find a job and then they resort to such things. I am not saying that what they do is right. However, do you think that there is a relationship between crime and unemployment?

It has been theorized that unemployment tend to propel persons into crime to enable them survive ecomically, and also that unemployment tends to increase the anomie among the unemployed that is relented to criminal behavior.

Just because unemployment is on the rise, does not mean that will result in crime rising too. A lot of people are able to collect unemployment compensation after working for a while. You may quality for this compensation for a temporary period while you find new work.

But, people who do have issues finding work, will sometimes go to a life of crime to make money. But I don't know if more people do crime because of unemployment.

In a short sentence the relationship between unemployment is that being in one situation can lead to another if care is not taken , for example an unemployed person can go into crime just to have money.

Yes counties where peaple have the least jobs are full of crimes because peaple needs to survive somehow and they choose crimes I mean I understand them the relationship between unemployment and crime is high

Most of the crimes we have are as a result of unemployment. I have had friends who'd taken to prostitution and stealing all because of no job. The relationship between unemployment and crime is that they work hand in hand, unemployment brings about crime,

When people can't find something legal to do to eke out a living, some might turn to doing crime. There is no justification for crime though but unemployment increases the likelihood of crime.

Well i believe there is a huge relationship between unemployment though. Though not everyone who are unemployed goes into the life of crime but often times majority of them tend to see crime as an easy way out. Since the society is not friendly to them, they are ready to take what they want by force.

People need food to eat, clothes to wear, and a house to live. These are basic necessities. If they do not have these necessities, they will be tempted to get into crime. However, not all criminals are tempted to do crimes because they need necessities. A lot of people are involved in crime because they are looking for easy money to enjy luxury.

Crime rates are still much lower in countries where the government helps the unemployed people because they realise that the government will help them. However, if the government does not help them, they would be in problem. Despite this, crime rates are so high in many developed countries as well and this is quite surprising.

What relates the two is the lack of money. People need money to survive and cater for their needs. When unemployment rate is high, crime rate will definitely be high as people will resort to other means to get money.

One of the relationship between unemployment and crime is; Economic Strain: Unemployment can lead to financial strain and economic hardship for individuals and households. The stress caused by unemployment, combined with limited financial resources, can increase the likelihood of engaging in criminal activities as a means to obtain income or meet basic needs.

When people are not employed and they have responsibilities that will need or require money for them to take care of, it is most likely going to push them into committing one crime or another for them to raise money to be able to take care of their responsibilities.

Actually there is no relationship in the two it's only a matter of choice that connect them. Being unemployed is not an excuse to get involved in crime. There are many unemployed youths who are making judicious use of their time.

When you are unemployed and not doing anything to help you generate money in any way, there is always a high chance of such kind of person taking the path of crime in order to see if it is possible to make money from that angle too.

Unfortunately, many employers seek advantage and they hire people because they know that people would be ready to work for them for really low rates, as they may be willing to do that. The fact remains that the financial positions of such people may not be good in the first place.

The lazy man is always going to be the devil's workshop. This is a clear view of what we are saying when we claim that those that are unemployed are always going to be a tool for crime. I have known that once one is not doing something tangible that can bring in money, they are always going to think about going into crime just to make money.

Unfortunately, many people think that committing a crime will solve their financial problems. However, this is not the case at ll. In fact, committing a crime will make their lives worse. There are many criminals who do not even need to commit a crime. They opt to commit crime because they think that it is a good way to become wealthy. However, this is not true at all.

If people are jobless, they will still be hungry. Hunger doesn't look at anyone's face. If you're kid, hunger will strike you if you don't eat and the same thing goes for adults. A parent wouldn't be looking at his child's face when they are hungry and not do anything. This is what leads many into crime to help them survive.

You're very correct with that assessment but it's just a shame that most of them only see crime as the option that's left for them in the situation they have found themselves in. It's true indeed that crime can give you money but what about the consequences of being caught? This is what these people are not putting into consideration when they want to head into crime.
