I don't even know how to explain this all because the two of them work or been serve for the sake purpose,so it will be very hard to explain I guess but if the problem to explain is getting too much,google is our friend.
 
Just like there is profit and expenses, it is still under the same thing when it comes to taxes and revenues because taxes are to be considered as your expenses while revenue are considered as your income.

The two terminologies are entirely different from each other. Tax is something in form of a levy you pay to the government. While revenue is something that has to do with the income accruable to you from your businesses
