It is really easy to understand. Look tax is an amount that is payable. Like you buy any sof drink and pay charges for it. Bu tax charges are paid to the Government of he state. Revenue is an amount that directly comes in your pocket. Like you are doing a job somewhere and get salary at the end of month.
Well yes, you have to know better that there is a remarkeble difference between Revenue and tax. If I have to conceal in a sentence then, when a charge is imposed on a citizen as a duty it is Tax, and when it is collected by the government it becomes it's Revenue.Revenue is the receipt of the government in a whole.
