What is the difference between chapter 7 and chapter 13?

I don't really know much about these. I know people file for them all the time but it seems like they are both very similar. So similar that I can't really understand what the difference is unless I am overlooking something?

I'm sure myself but I think in the end like you suggested, OP needs to do more due diligence next time whether the information posted under the chosen title is worth it and would work to proofread before posting as well.
