What's your favourite forum software, this can be free or paid. What's your reason for it being your best liked script? Mine is a free version and the software is known as phpBB. Most webmasters will go for phpBB since it's easy to customize, install, and has a modern look to it. Compared to other scripts, the administration features give an excelllent ease of access to the Staff on the forum.

I have always been a huge fan of MyBB. I originally would only use vBulletin but then I started using MyBB with my test forums and I fell in love with it. The flexibility of MyBB is fantastic.
I love the fact that MyBB has a lot of plugins and themes for it. I also love the fact that the software and all of the add-ons are free. lol
If I had to go with a paid software though, it would definitely be XenForo. I started using it a few years ago and I love the simplicity of it.

It has to be MyBB for me. It's free and it has a large collection of themes and plugins that allow you to have almost anything on your forum. Plus, it's extremely beginner friendly and allows a lot of customisation.

For Paid Software I would recommend go with Xenforo and for free software Mybb although we have to find all free things in any software.
If you have money, then choose paid software only as it fights for spam.

I would say paid forum software will have more customizations and features when compared to free forum software.
They have frequent updates as well. As for me, I like MyBB as a free forum software and it's got too many themes and plugins to choose from.

As for the paid forum software, I really can't choose between Xenforo and VB. They are both good and I like their user interface a lot.
If I have to choose, I would probably pick Xenforo as it's affordable.

I personally like the Xenforo, the one which is also used for Bizdustry. I got used to it since I visit lots of forums that use it

I'm not a professional software or website developer so I can't really say. I only know how to design a website with a custom theme

The best forum software for me is xenforo . All the functionalities that xenforo provides surpasses all free forum systems. This is because they give room for developers to write more codes that forum owners could use. Which I turn help developers make more money.

I see xenforo as one of the best forum software, I have used many other but this one is more unique and special. It is also very easy to install.

I shear your point here. Paid softwares have a lit of features that the free software will not have and this will not be good for you to run with securely

Forum software can be Free or paid it all depends on the kind of forum software you like and normally make use of, most people prefer to use the free software for a start

This must be an interesting type and kind of software that someone who is always on his forum should have. To sniff out false interactions and account

Most forums I have worked with use the xenforo software and this shows it's the best and most easy to use. I'm thinking of using them to start my own forum In the future.

I am not someone who has interacted with the back end of forum sites. I do not have a forum and do not even hope to have one but for now, based on interaction on sites, xenforo plug ins are the best that I have come across.

I think there is a lot of best software forum that paid very good, but I don't know much about them but I believe there is best one.

From the reviews I have seen so far I have discovered that most people prefers xenforo forum software and this particular forum that we are using is making use of xenforo because xenforo is actually the best forum software.

I have interacted with some very food software in the past. And all have proven some very good experience. But notable has to be the xenforo software as it have features that eclipse them all.

Xenforo for me it's has been better and been bthe best software .they give room for young developers to boost things up . Their are lot more but I believe it's the best.

Xenforo have proven itself to host many forum, its an authentic software for building forums. It got unique features to customize a forum site, Bizdustry is an example.

I will use a free software whenever I am starting, but as time goes on I will try and upgrade to a paid one that would make my site more attractive to visitors.

Well, in reply to your question in the above post concerning the best forum software, whether it's free or paid, I am of the opinion that you should go for the paid one as the paid tends to carry more value than the free a lot of the time

I agree with your comments that you should go for paid forum software than the free software because the free sometimes and not that legit.

I do not own a blog before and I have never managed one before so I will talk just based on my experience using it and I think xenforo provides the best architecture among all of them.

Prior to this time, I preferred vBulletin but xenforo is actually good because he gives and an avenue for content developers to use I write more codes than forum users could even use.

It is always good to settle for the paid version of any software or website as this would enable you explore so many opportunities that are available.

How do I join and start using myBB and vBulletin as well. Guys at this point in time I need to ask where else can I start making money to help my self this Christmas season.

I have no experience with running a forum, but as a forum poster I think Xenforo is good, it has a clean design and loads fast. I have not tried a lot of forum scrips.

Same here. But from what I have heard, I believe paid ones are the best, some are expensive some are cheap, go for the ones you can. The free software forum is too limited.

Regards to the question you asked above that the best forum soft ware is paid or free. The people to my believe want free things but Almighty God will not come down after all he has done for us on earth. While some will enjoy paying and get what they want on time or it will take time before you use the one for free, it all depends on which is favorable to you.

I will advise you to go for paid software if you want to build a good dynamic forum. Paid software will give you the opportunity to have full control over the forum and tweak some of the features to your benefit.

One thing I've come to realise is the fact that things that are provided free aren't long lasting or they have limitations.
Once you're thinking of opening a forum on website that you demand lots of traffic, using paid software is not negotiable.
Don't ever use free stuff for serious Online earning endeavors.

I do not know much about forum softwares.
If bizdustry is a forum software, then it is the best i know so far.
Please can anyone explain this further?
Thanks.

For me, it has to be MyBB. It's free, and it comes with a ton of themes and plugins that let you customize your forum to your heart's content. It's also quite user-friendly and provides for a lot of customization.

There is no way for you to get a better result from your website when you are making use of free services which have limited features that can restrict your progress in your business.

Even though I don't have any forum I am running at the moment, but I must commend you for taking your time to post such a long review about the above forum software. It is really interesting learning new things as no knowledge is a waste. Thanks for sharing.

Gizmo's Best is the successor of the popular Gizmo's Freeware site. All new, we still serve the same community with independent reviews of software

Well I only know of Xenforo and it's not like I use it but I got to know about it from a friend and I am sure that they are others out there just like this and I will try to find out

Before I get my XenForo, I am going to try and create a few forums with the free forum software. But I can't decide between phpbb and SMF, maybe even MyBB although their security isn't that great. What do you think is the best free forum software?

I am not sure which of these would be the best free software because i have not used them before, however, if we are considering free software i think that there are some considerations that need to be accounted for, like the limitations of the software and the possibility of there also being malware in freeware.

My all time favorite forum software is xenforo, not only is it cheaper than vBulletin and IPB it's also better IMO. You get better support, and better features right out of the box with just the core forum system. When it first dropped in 2010, I didn't really care for it for some reason... I'm happy that the current forum I own is running Xenforo, I've been wanting to purchase a license for years and finally got the chance to.
