Well said. In order to benefit from PBN, the sites need to be of high quality, with a lot of useful and interesting content. If the PBN does not have enough content, and no original content, creating backlinks on these sites does not help much. However, creating a good PBN site is not very hard, if you want to develop a lot of sites so that you can build backlinks.

I do not have any plans for creating multiple blogs for creating niche sites or building backlinks. However, I was not aware that people also built sites just for building backlinks. I hear that backlink works only when you build on high authority sites.

Thank you for sharing the information about private blog network. This is the first time that I have encountered that term. But in creating websites that would entail hard work and expenses since you need to register your domain for a fee and also the hosting. I guess that is not a practical way of increasing the website's ranking in the search results list. Some other ways are pretty cheaper like promoting the blog in social media and also by commenting on popular blogs.

Backlinks are a big part of ranking, but I'm at loss to figure out how successful SEO companies don't use PBNs, even if they are so back-hat. Well, one way they could get around it is by having people write posts on Web 2.0 sites like WordPress (as in having a subdomain connected to the WordPress.com domain) etc.. Anyway, though, I don't think Web 2.0 mostly alone is the way anyone can succeed. Well, that's a guess.

From what I have just read based on your explanation on the way this tool is been used, I think it is like a hack or crack tool to have an edge over google search. This sounds ilegal somehow. I might be wrong
