What do you do to avoid being depressed

For you not to be depressed I suggest you occupy yourself with something that will keep you happy and stop you from thinking. When you feel depressed you listen to music to cheer you up.
I do not really have time to thinks so much because my life is occupied with a lot of things,anyone who is depressed really need to spend some times with group of friends and trusted family member because this can help to boost the mood of an individual.
 
There's a lot going on in the world especially on social media, the fake life, the flashy lights etc, how do you ensure you don't get depressed from these work, emotion and physical stress?
With What is going on in this world right now so as not to fall into depression I keep myself around my people, does that make me happy especially my child so when I'm with her I'm always happy I don't think about things I just let it go.
 
You just have to keep yourself motivated and happy nobody else can.Be near people that gives you a positive vibes and energy drainers.No matter what happens remind yourself not to give up.Its also good to open up to someone who understands bottling it up can be deadly
 
I always have the conviction that not everyone's trajectory is the same so anytime I am on social media I just try to have fun and not compare with another person.
 
I think that the best thing to do to avoid depression is been happy all the time. I know it is impossible to be happy all the time but at least try to be doing thing that make you happy. Don't just keep everything to yourself. Try and be talking to other people when you are troubled
 
Whenever life throws curve balls across my path and I feel bad, I tend to pray and soak myself in soul lifting music. If that doesn't solve, I get myself out of the house to a place where I know I'll meet people that life has thrown even bigger curve balls on their path. I spend time around them and it reminds me how lucky I am to be me. That always does the trick for me.
 
When you feel depressed, it's always good to go associate with friends. You can shake it off when you socialise with friends. Then you could pick up your phone and start chatting on Facebook and other social media or you watch comedy film
 
The only measure I put in place not to get depressed is just not to look at those above me but those behind me. I don't compare my lives to those who are doing better than me and with this I have been able to maintain my stand and no form of oppression can move me
 
I go into conversation with others , listen to music, see movies and surf the internet, it won't be that easy for you to be depressed especially when you are seriously busy.
 
I don't think that depression is something that needs to be avoided because sometimes only try to avoid depression that is when it hits us the most. What we should learn is how to cope with it or we find ourselves in such distressing situations. Reaching out to loved ones and people that can help us can be very very can be very very helpful. Depressed people shouldn't be left to themselves.

Having be there before, depression is like a dark cloud that covers your eyes ,you can't see anything good, all that goes through your mind is to destroy yourself, at that point talk to a friend or mentor it will help you get out of it
 
One of the best way to avoid depression is not attaching your happiness to the action of another person. Learn to have fun with yourself, fall in love with yourself, stop seeking for validation from others and I assure that depression would be far from you
 
I can only be depressed when there is something very serious bothering me in my mind but this will happen on extremely rare circumstances .that is the reason I do not feel depressed easily. Any problem I have now I'll try to fixed it.
 
I play and laugh a lot, listen to music, and loves to go on adventures with few friends. I also curb depression by eating well and staying healthy 😀
 
Depression is very to common among Nigeria youth due lack capital and unemployment for the youth so most Nigeria graduate have depression with recent literacy about crptocurrency we are coming out of it though the Nigeria Government is against the youth.

I believe the first step to handle depression is to talk to people about it, not necessarily your peers but older and wiser people who can advise you on what to do.

first of all you need to know what making you to be depressed and then you stay away from it. the mostly thing that makes us to be depressed is negative thoughts and you need to stay away from it.
