What are the jobs of estates managers?

As the title of the thread goes, I really wants to know what the work or role that Estate managers plays, what their duties are in a nutshell.
A realtor, an estate agent is meant to oversee the negotiations that involves renting of an apartment estate building. He or she connects the owner of the house and the one renting the apartment. Also he or she negotiate in land acquisition, he connects the buyer and seller to reach consensus.
 
Estate managers are people who are essentially responsible for the upkeep and protection of a private estate/home. It is not like a real estate agent, whose task is to sell a property. An estate manager oversees the protection of the property, and may even be responsible for getting the place cleaned up. Depending on the building, they may also be responsible for hosting events and doing all kind of other things.
 
In general, the property manager is in charge of keeping the property in excellent service, changing things that have been damaged and replacing them with new ones, maintaining and providing security to the inhabitants. Charge the condominium that includes the basic services of electricity and water, as well as the workers that they hire to solve problems and material expenses, among others.
