How does everyone feel about their staff roster? Do you expect staff to help promote the site? Do you have a specific group on staff for that very purpose? If so, what does it entail for those team members? What do you expect of them? I'm curious to see how everyone goes about advertising and promoting their sites and if they have a team of helpers to help with it.

If you hire to anyone, then you have to keep it secretly without releasing secrets to the staff since they too open a forum and starts to develop it. I have seen some moderators open their own forums and invited old members into their forums. This is a drastic thing and people start to cheat when the forum grows.

When the forum I run was first opened, I expected staff to help out with creating threads, welcoming new members and reaching out to others they knew to spread the word. Not all staff followed that vision and a couple only waited until reports came in and then gave an opinion and that was it. I guess the saying "It's hard to find good help" is true. I end up doing most of the work myself in what needs to get done.

I don't really expect the staff members to promote the website. Somehow, they would just think of it as a burden.

If possible, I just want them to visit the website regularly and interact with the other users on a daily basis. If something comes up, which is quite rare, I expect them to make a stand. Apart from these duties, I don't expect anything else from them. I am not good with staff members who disappears without notifying others. It's hard for others to cover for them. This is just how I do things.

Activity wise, I prefer to hire those willing to atleast help with content and activity. I have rarely hired people strictly to help advertise, as I seem to not get many good results from doing that. I would rather have staff do promotion, if they are excited about the website, rather than expecting them to do advertising, just because they have to do it.

If what you mean is the staff of a website, well, they have their duties and responsibilities. If the promotion of the site is not explicitly stated then the staff is not obligated to promote the site. However, I do not see the logic why the staff should promote the site when the job is for moderating the forum (as an example only). In any company, the employee is expected to support the company but not necessarily to promote it.

Each company has a different team and the division of this team where it has the best convenience with personnel. Some owners feel comfortable working on the advertising side, while others, due to lack of knowledge or time, have a staff prepared for that purpose. Where I work there is a team dedicated only to the advertising part, and it is the same for each department.

That's the main reason they are all working for me, because the more our business grow the more they keep getting paid of their salary. So I belief everywhere any of my staff is,he or she should be advertising my site or company name and what we are into as well. So the more they are all doing that in their various way the more we keep getting client and the better for we all.

No it is better to designate some one to do that like a social media manager or if the organization is short on funds then it can be added to a specific persons job description. Of course it expected that other staff members support the social media handles of the organization

I don't have a team, I work individually. However, I promote my sites regularly. I promote my sites on social sites, mostly facebook and twitter; I also promote my sites through online communities and discussion boards.

For promotions of a blog and website to be easier and faster, all the staffs working on that particular website and blog should get involved in passing on the messages across other websites and online platforms, that's all staff should be involved in the advertisement.

A schedule, often called a roster , is a list of employees, and associated information such as location, working times, responsibilities for a given time period like week, month or sports season.the more they are all doing it the more you keep getting client

You operate like sole proprietorship business type, where one man takes all the risks, promotion of the business and profit end. People find such easier to promote on their own than hiring group people or team to help carry out promotion services for their business brand or whatever profitable they deal on.

Yes, my business model is sole proprietorship business. I do hire part time workers and virtual assistants time to time, but basically I work alone. I do a lot of things from writing, website design, SEO digital marketing, etc.

Well the moment you realise your site is becoming big then its necessary to outsource some work load and compensate them for the job.
Be Inspired, Be informed.

Be informed always because information is knowledge and it carries power to succeed.

When it comes to your business visibility, you should have a PR team which are solely responsible for media, advertising, social media and branding or in other words any thing that creates a good impression in the eyes of the public. This people should be creative and conversant with the target market.

Well for a website the best way to promote it is by referrals instead of having specific staffs that are tasked with promoting the website. This is the method that everyone is using in this 21st century.

If i get the question right, you wish to know staff tools like roasted and it's effectiveness. Well, I think that in a decentralised organisation, division of labor is necessary and staff tools is necessary to keep staffs in line.

There is nothing big in that one. You can hire people who are very skilled in affiliate marketing and they will help you do the job very well.

I think this is a very good idea because as a worker sometimes you might be stuck and wondering which particular shift are you and innovation like this is what will help you know your shift.

Staff roster that help to promote teamwork and it helps to coordinate a good working environment in an organisation. With staff roster you will not be told of what to do you already know what to do and the roaster

To my own understanding of the context of your write up, the promotion of a company should be the function of the owner and not the workers. He can hire some people to do that for him.

If this is about promoting your website, if you think you are capable enough to get the job done alone as the business owner, then you are at an advantage because you don't need to pay anyone for that task anymore

Concerning your question on how people manage advertising of their sites and the team behind it, well first I would say that I don't own a site so i don't know more about the advertisement aspect but i would say that you should plan well

When a business becomes big it is essential to have a team dedicated for advertisements and promotion of the business products and services. Staff rooster is very important, it helps to schedule a particular set of people to a job role and the day and time the roles should be carried out.

Staff roster is very important in a company because it helps to know how many workers a company have and their daily duties, Staff roster is a schedule and we can also call it a roster .

Staff roosters are very important important aspect in business in which every manager should have . it helps the workers to know about their roles and how it affects them.

I have a full team helping me to promote my blogs and websites. Some people manage social media, some manage SEO and some people manage PPC. This all can be managed with proper planning and management.
This is so underated. Having a team behind you helping with other things then maybe weekly or monthly you get a feedback. It's actually very progressive strategy

Is really good to allow your staff to promote your business or whatever, or you can hire someone who are well know to help you promote your website.

I believe that efficiency will be greater if you will allow a setting particular kind of people to focus on certain areas of the business instead of always switching people between departments.

I once worked in a geographic information services company where we promote the organisational goals, we shared flyers, registered properties and we actually followed a schedule, different teams and different locations on subsequent days.

If it's about promoting your website, and you believe you're capable of doing it on your own as a business owner, you'll have an advantage because you won't have to pay somebody to do it.

I work for an e-commerce and there is a digital marketing team which has been dedicated for promoting the website and despite this, all workers have been charged to also post product pictures and links to their WhatsApp status at intervals as a way of promoting the site and its content. It's all hands on deck.

Presently in our business,we are all working without a schedule, this is due to the fact that the outfit is just starting to gain some traction and entry into the online media world.so everyone is involve in the marketing of the site.

Many companies hire many people and make them a team in order to manage the website and the E-commerce business of the company. If an e-commerce business heavily depends on online site, then they may also promote the site through other traditional ways such as traditional forms of marketing and advertising methods that are specifically made to target a particular kind of audience.

Of course if I had a business, I would expect my staff to help promote my business. I am open to using any means to make the business successful. Staff has more to do than just work

Might not be a roster per se but there's definitely a breakdown of the activities to different teams and ensure that they follow it diligently.
In advertising, there are those that are concerned with graphics design, SEO and social media handling and so on.

In my own personal business , i will definitely says that i have a team becayse I am running the business with my wife and that makes us a team by working together to acheive a certain goal.

I have an individual who is in charge of doing promotion for our page for our business, and the promoton and awareness he normally does on the page is very much effective to the business.

In an organisation , there should be a team and department handling staff rosters and employee promotion , its normally the promotional teams in the department that handles the promotion of employee and also handle the promotion ofnthe business.

This really happens in a conductive environment were there is satisfaction in doing business or working. Site promotion should be handled in marketing department, although workers are also responsible in marketing there sites.

That is actually a good strategy to getting staff members to be fully involved in the plan of the forum platform, this will make them be commited towards achieving set goals based on their convinction on the job.

As the owner or the manager of the business , the best thing to do I order to ensure the proper division of labour is to make sure the job is allocated to each of the workers .

It's expedient of a staff to promote the company site he or she is working for. I'm currently working for a school as a part-time teacher and I do everything within my best to promote the school site.

I believe that everybody should be able to work fairly when it comes to working for an organisation without having to stress themselves and knowing exactly what their job is all about.

I always try to be there whenever we are designing the staff rooster and we also open opportunities for people to talk if there is any kind of displeasure that they will want to be controlled
