Software that warns of unknown traffic/suspicious traffic

What are some of the best software out there that will warn you of any unknown traffic or suspicious traffic coming to your site? Maybe warning you when a ddos attack may be in the process of happening. I know those can be problematic for a lot of sites.

I use wordfence on my website it is a plugin for wordpress sites that give all information about the traffic on your site as well as other issues. It will not only track bot traffic but also subspicious traffic.
