Sign language?

Do any of you know sign language? How and why did you learn?

I am learning right now, I can do the alphabet, I taught myself last night with an app that showed me the signs. I have been wanting to learn for a long time now. Since I’m a manager at the place I work, I think it would be good for be to be able to communicate with the deaf. My work is litterally right down the road from a dead and blind school, so it would be super useful for me.

I took a sign language course in college and was decent but I lost interest. Anyway, in my family for some reason, there is a lot of deafness. In fact, I had two deaf uncles and one deaf cousin.

No clue, It seems hard and not simple but end of the day I can hear and see and small and regards people support those that are! I just have no clue and I don't think I will learn it.

I never thought I’d need to learn it. Honestly, I wasn’t going to at all. I decided that since school started back, we’d have even more kids from the deaf and blind school coming into our restaurant I may as well go ahead and learn it to make it easier for them. I’d love to teach all of my employees how to sign our menu once I actually learn it better. It would be great business to be honest.
