Do you think that governments for all countries should bail out businesses in their respective countries when needed? I know the pandemic affected many businesses, so much that some needed funding from the government or they ended up closing down.

With that being said, do you think the government for your country, should be responsible to help bail out failing companies?

I believe that the government actually offer a lot of support to small scale businesses but unfortunately in my country it is the last time that our government would do because the only thing that they have interest in doing is taxing small businesses.

Well if necessary they should help to make the business raise again.

The government are responsible for making all possible structures, that will helped to boost the economy and revive the falling business but not to fund them.

It is a wonderful idea when government intervene to help businesses that are about to shut down. However there is only little that they can do because thousands of businesses are on always on the brink of shutting down.

For the post pandemic period, it was necessary to bail out businesses. But beyond that, it is not good for the business clime if the government keeps handing out bailouts to businesses. It would not allow the business sector to be self sustaining.

The government actually have to take this kind of decision of bailing businesses because it will be an advantage to them on the long run. During the covid 19 pandemic a lot of countries actually took this decision and it paid off.

I don't think it will weaken the economy in any way. Government usually bail some businesses during periods like pandemic or some economic downturn. it will even help the economy because the businesses will be able to pay their taxes well.

The government in here does not even care about big businesses either. They are interested in collecting taxes only. However, the fact remains that they may offer subsidies to a few huge corporations for their own benefits.

Well this is a question a bit difficult to answer in reality, because if a company is private, those who should take charge of its management and in case of bankruptcy should be its owners and associates, since it has nothing to do with the government, but it is true that these companies pay their taxes and surely contribute quite well to the country, so I think it's up to the government in question whether it does it or not, I don't see a clear answer here.

Exactly, that's why its name is private, there are no interventions by third parties directly in it, it is managed by its owners, the government has little to do with it, it is true that many times governments rescue companies that are of vital importance for the stability of a country, but when they are not, they simply don't, but really we all pay taxes, so this should not be an excuse for a bailout simply because of a bankruptcy.

Government bailing out businesses does not mean that they will give free money to them. There are different kinds of steps they can take and one of them is through grants. Reducing the interest rate is also another strategy.

How is it the government's primary assignment to bail out businesses in a capitalist economy? The government just shows sympathy and wants to stimulate growth of the economy when they bail out businesses. Private sector businesses are supposed to be on their own.

Borrowing money is just like inviting trouble. The fact of the matter remains that any country that borrows money has to pay a lot more than what it borrowed. This means a country must use its resources in order to pay the loan back. This could be a bad thing for a country.

Well, some countries like the United States have a lot of debts but it was used to develop their country and their economy. But in some countries whenever they borrow it will not be used to develop the economy to generate the money back.
