Post Exchange For Your Forum

If you are just starting out, one of the best ways to get new users and activities is by engaging in post exchange. This is a two way process where you join someone's site and make certain amount of posts and the owner of that site will reciprocate by creating equivalent number of posts on your site. I used to do in the past, but these days I no longer do it.

It doesn't bring results as expected. You could post high quality posts and by the way get comments on the general talk or all these staff that doesn't bring value to the blog depend on the person you exchange with it @Nomad.

With post exchange you are not trying to build active members, you are just trying to have some activities if your site is new or if your site lacks fresh content.

Post exchanges are a great way to get new content added to your forum. If you do a daily or weekly one it can really help bring in more potential members. It's also a great way to get content added to a brand new forum that hasn't been promoted anywhere yet.

If you are engaged with post exchange, it will also make you extremely busy on other forums, right? This is one major drawback of post exchange.
