To add to the point of them not teaching it in school... This always made me mad.
I feel like they should teach students how to apply for credit, manage bank accounts, file taxes, and apply for loans. It is silly none of this is talked about and yet they expect people to go from high school to college in the blink of an eye!

Personal finance is not about how much money you make, it's about how much money you save. How efficient are you in handling your money? How can you cut down your expenses and use the surplus cash into cash-generating assets? There is a saying that money never sleeps it's very true, the money we have invested in companies, real estate, or crypto works 24/7 and generates interest or cash flow. We should have a target as to how much money we should make and create an automatic system to enable savings. It might be a slow upclimb but is definitely worth it. The earlier you start the better results would be. It doesn't matter how much you make, make a habit of saving and investing.
I am somebody who generally likes topics about personal finance. When it comes to taking a house on a mortgage I usually advise that you should be very well comfortable and have a good source of income before trying to do that.
