Pension is the money which the government allows to pay to the servants working under government sector after their retirement. Any government servant having great qualification and good post at the government sector recieves huge pension. What do you think?

I agree with you, since the monthly pension is based on the salary that the public employee has at the time of his retirement. We speak of politicians, ministers, directors of government offices, which is also related to the studies carried out, courses, postgraduate courses and others, which helps in the merits obtained. Therefore, the monthly payments of the pensions are substantial.

in our country there are 2 government agencies that are in charge of the pension system. GSIS handles the pension of the government workers while SSS handles the pension of private company workers. Both workers (or employees) contribute a part of their salary to the pension plan as mandated by law. When they reach 60 or 65 depending on the ruling, the worker will be qualified to receive the monthly pension for life. That is tax free.

The amount one receives as pension on monthly basis depends on the grade level and last salary of the person before retirement, and the amount normally is not much unless the pensioner retired at a very good level.

According to my own point of view, I will say yes the government worker received high pension according to your position at work. Because in the government policy, you pension salary is fifty percent of your monthly payment. So once you have a good position as a government worker and you are receiving good salary, you should be rest assured that your pension will be high

You must work for thirty five years before you can receive your pension, you must sign into a pension scheme before you can be able to receive pension. Pension is very important and essencial for every retiree. You must be able at least work either in government or private organization that is affiliated to a pension scheme board.

Pensions may not be huge, considering how much such pensioner was earning when in active service. There is a way that this is calculated, so that at the end of every month, once your retired, you can be able to earn certain amount to sustain yourself and family.

Yes you are right federal government do pay their worker with high qualfication, and also in a good post they do pay them a huge sum of amount pertaining to pension so its really depends on the kind of position you are.

In my country, it doesn't necessary mean you occupy a good position. You are entitled to pension in as much as you are working with the government. But you must meet some criteria which include age requirements and some satisfactory behaviors

Yes you just explained what pension is all about and I like how you make it concise. However, I would like if you can make a comprehensive post on what pension means. Again i don't know the difference between pension and gratuity so I will like if you can compare and contrast

In my country you are qualified to have a pension if you have Uhmm Hmmm if you work for government for some specific years or Uhmm OK and you have a good and satisfactory character then you can be qualified to have a pension.

Pension detail to the best of my knowledge is a retirement plan that is, an arrangement to provide people with an income during retirement when they are no longer earning a steady income from employment. Some retirement plans require both the employer and employee to contribute money to a fund during their employment in order to receive defined benefits upon retirement. Funding can be provided in other ways, such as from labor unions, government agencies, or self-funded schemes. Pension plans are therefore a form of deferred compensation to an employee.

This is a free service which searches a database of more than 200,000 workplace and personal pension schemes to try to find the contact details you need. You can phone the Pension Tracing Service on 0800 731 0193 or you can use the link below to complete an online request form.

I don't quite understand your point, if you can clarify. Since the year of retirement goes according to the age, and it is the same in my country, since each country has its own age limit. The years of service are important when you start working at an early age, but otherwise when you reach the age regardless of the years of service, you are retired.

Yes as it is writing in a document but not as it is practicable in the real world most especially in the third world countries only few numbers of the retire civil servant earned their pension as it is supposed to be paid.

Pension is the percentage of income given to a retiree on a monthly basis and the amount is based on the level attained by the retiree during service years.

It is not about every servant with huge post on the government will get huge pension, it is about your salary. pension is 50% of your formal salary so it all depends on your salary when you are in service

when you go for registration of pension there are some details that you have been asked to give you as a worker which requires each the time you started working and also the amount of salary that you are receiving all these details must be in place in order for you to have a good unsuccessful registration.
